About Me

Gilbert Ferreira was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where he faced significant challenges during his early years. As a teenager, he experienced recurring nightmares and lived in a home marked by his father’s alcoholism, along with verbal and physical abuse. Through his encounter with God, he found the faith, deliverance, and spiritual strength that became the foundation of his ministry. Today, as a pastor, he shares the same hope and power that brought healing and transformation to his life.

After answering God’s call, Gilbert dedicated himself to full-time pastoral service with the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG). He studied Bible and Pastoral Care in São Paulo and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. For over 23 years, he has served as a pastor across multiple countries, including Brazil, the Philippines, New Zealand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Macau, and currently Hong Kong.

Gilbert is married to Merry Mae, a Filipina, and together they have been serving the local church. With their solid marriage of over 13 years, Gilbert and Merry Mae also provide marriage and family counseling to support and strengthen couples and families.
