 I was struggling in a loveless marriage.  My husband was unfaithful. Depressed, I started an online relationship. My employer also falsely accused me of theft, causing me anxiety and insomnia. To get revenge I considered jumping from a window with my eight-year-old ward. At the HelpCentre, I learned to forgive and let go of toxic relationships. I repaired my marriage and my relationship with my employer, and now enjoy a happy and healthy life free of depression.

 I was angry at my wife for getting into debt, but was wary of upsetting her as she was suicidal.  I was also bitter at my son for stopping University and using his allowance to support his girlfriend. I cut off communication with them for some time, and overthinking led me to depression. At the HelpCentre, I learned how to combat depression and to forgive. Today I have a good relationship with both my wife and son, and my wife and I are depression free.

Anxiety in my love life led me to an online relationship.  I financed my partner's application to work abroad and to transfer his land. But, he disappeared after getting what he wanted.  I was left deeply wounded, with debts. I was then diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in my right kidney. Depression hit hard and I became suicidal. But at the HelpCentre, I learned to use intelligent faith to eliminate all negativity. Today, I am depression, cancer and debt free. I now have peace and a positive mindset.

My depression began when my partner and I separated. I depended on him financially, so when I found myself with no savings and no job I turned to drugs, alcohol, and parties to distract myself. I struggled with insomnia and heard voices that urged me to harm myself. At the HelpCentre I learned to let go of my past and move forward independently. Now, I am free from depression and addiction, and have found stability in my finances, job, and mental and emotional well-being.

Despite identifying as a Christian, I used to lead a destructive life. Trying to fill the void from my depression, I became addicted to smoking, drinking and womanizing. But through the prayers, counseling and practical advise I received at the UCKG I beat the depression and am now addiction free.
