ASSISTANTS
In the UCKG we have dedicated volunteers who selflessly contribute their time and energy to outside their daily life of work, family, domestic duties etc, to spreading the gospel and saving souls.
They have been chosen from among the congregation to assist the Assistant Pastors, Pastors and Bishops and to serve the members of the church.
Who Are the Assistants?
Assistants are more than volunteers — they are pillars of the church, offering spiritual support and guidance to those in need.
They serve with compassion, providing practical help, sincere advice, and a listening ear during life’s most difficult moments.
What makes them uniquely qualified is their journey. Having overcome personal struggles such as addiction, loss, or broken relationships, they are living examples of transformation through faith — and now, they dedicate their lives to helping others find the same hope and strength.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15

Extensive Training & Spiritual Preparation

Spiritual preparation is the foundation of becoming an Assistant.
Before serving God and others, one must first experience personal transformation, be baptized in water, and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
These steps are essential to be fully equipped for the work of saving souls.
Each volunteer undergoes extensive spiritual training and preparation called PCA (Preparatory Course Assistants) to become collaborators, equipping them to effectively share the Gospel and minister to souls.

This includes deep Bible study, spiritual discipline, practical ministry instruction, and mentorship under experienced pastors.
This training helps shape their character, sharpen their discernment, and prepare them to serve others with wisdom, humility, and authority.
They learn not only how to counsel and pray for others, but also how to lead by example in daily life — living out the message of faith they carry.

Graduation Ceremony
After completing their training, volunteers take part in a special dedication ceremony where they are officially recognized as Assistants.
Anointed and prayed over, they step into their calling with boldness, ready to serve and win souls.
